5 dollars more than the Milwaukee, but from what I hear, these are one of the better ones.
I'm going to return the Milwaukees.

Milwaukee is held in very high regard for power tools and their Fastback knife, but as OP said, they have notoriously bad (prone to breakage) tape measures compared to Stanley.
Got two on one of these deals a while back. Have not been happy with the standout but perhaps my expectations are too high… or long depending on what I'm doing.
These replaced a higher end Kobalt that I was very happy with but inexplicably cut with the chop saw.
Hey that's my tape measure!! Running joke because almost everyone in the industry uses a FatMax,
I have used a few different tapes and the original Milwaukee magnetic tape (don't make anymore) was the only one that came close to the FatMax for everyday use and abuse
I laugh every time I see these tape measure deals. People are paying twice the price for what a tape measure should cost. You can get the Stanley silver tape measures for $7.98 at HD. I have belt more decks and additions than I can count using these tape measures. They have almost 4k ratings with 4.5 stars but yet people are paying for these overpriced tape measures.
