This is my 7th robot vacuum, all but one have been returned for various reasons, typically mapping issues. So far, this one is great and it looks like a keeper.

Deebot 800, was great and the only one I kept, died after a year in a half, drive train motor seized.

Shark from Costco, terrible mapping. Would treat temporary objects and new permanent objects. When my dog would leave toys around and it would bump into them, it would treat that as if it were new furniture, so as my dog would leave toys around the living room, it would just not vacuum large patches of the room because it thought there was furniture there.

N8 pro+ would only ever clean one room once the map was finished. Tell it to clean the kitchen across the house, it would just clean 10ft around it's base station and return to home. Tell it to clean the whole house, cleans the room the base station is in and then stops. Delete the map, it would vacuum the whole house, then once the map would complete, would only vacuum one room. It also struggled to mop, I have a mix of tile, carpet and slate it it would not mop the slate.

i7, could not map my house. I have a mix of pitched and recessed ceilings and it just struggled to navigate back to the base station, have only tried lidar based since then as it looked like vSLAM struggled.

I have a live in allergen, weighs about 9 pounds and generates 3x his body weight in hair every couple of days it seems so I like to have something running just to pick up hair in-between normal vacuum days. This one I've had going since Thursday evening and it's great. Picking up a ton of dust and hair from the allergen. Mapped the house instantly and has zero problems navigating between rooms and going back to the base to empty. I don't find it to be too noisy and it's been picking up debris I've dropped in its path to see how it handles differently sized objects (cheerios, chip crumbs etc.). Mopping is nice, great to see nice shiny floors once it's done. At this price, I think it's fantastic - thanks OP.

tl:dr it good.

Received unit yesterday. Not excessively loud and navigates somewhat cluttered room reasonably well. Initial issues connecting to wifi- it needs your phone to be connected to a 2.4ghz band to transfer the connection to the robot, and if your phone is connected to a 5ghz band it won't connect. If this is a rebrand of the proscenic M8, these bags are quite cheap [amazon.com] and alleviate the bag cost issue. Seems to be an excellent robot for the price. Some are mentioning the N8+- you need the N8 pro+ to get better object on floor like wire/pet poop detection which is $600- not the one sold at best buy. That one on sale would be the next logical step up. The Roborock S7 has great features but is $700 plus $300 for the bin...
You don't have any issues with the vacuum moving forward a little bit sometime after fully charged ?

Yesterday I noticed mine doing a dance after it came home to dock and charge. It started charging then rolled forward turning a little, then returned to dock. I thought it was due to trying to send it to spot clean areas earlier and I overrode the command with an area clean. Not sure but haven't noticed it do that today.

Thanks for sharing this, hope someone can confirm they work. I'll give them a try when I'm up for new bags. Just checked the spare bag and installed bag to compare with pics from the M7 generic bags, looks like a match down to the details on the cardboard section!

Thanks! Looks the same. I received my vacuum two days ago and ordered these bags today. Should arrive tomorrow and free returns if it doesn't fit. Much better price than the OEM 3 for $20

I have an original Xiaomi robot vacuum for over 4 years now. Been very pleased with it, not missing any spot and return to the dock everytime. Need another one soon. For me, I need a reliable robot vacuum, does a good job at sucking up dirt, not missing any spot, and most importantly return to the dock by itself. This one has lidar tech like the Xiaomi. So ill give it a try.
I am not looking for Self Empty feature. Dreame D9 Robot on Amazon is on sale. Do you recommend that one as that one is owned by same xiomi roborock and way cheaper ? it has 2 in 1 feature, floor mapping, no go zones etc.

I love mine! Thanks for finding this. But, I have one slight comment. When I finally put on the mop head it appears to get stuck on and off throughout my house on our hardwood floor. I can hear it trying to get traction as the tires spin. The other night is got stuck in one corner of my dining room for about 10 minutes before I had to rescue it. But, still.. for the price and all of its features...its fantastic

I received these bags today and can confirm they fit the collector. They actually seem to be a little thicker material as well. I also agree the mopping feature is unusable on my wood floors as the vacuum spins in circles and can gain no traction on the wet floor. Aside from that I am extremely happy with vacuum function and app. I have had it run several cycles since it arrived and after the initial mapping it has worked great. Setup of areas was extremely easy and the quick run feature is great. I did have the base clog with hair once but the app alerted me and it was an easy fix. I do have a 45lb husky so it has picked up quite a bit of hair. Overall I'm very satisfied with the unit and even happier now that I was able to get the disposable bags 9 for $18 with next day delivery from Amazon.

Got the Wyze recently. Also thinking of getting this to compare and love the 90-day return policy.

From what I read: Pros for this one is mainly the dust bin. Cons are no multi-floor support and the bags are expensive. Is that about it for big differences? It has been getting annoying constantly emptying the wyze but in general we like it. Don' really care about the app.

How's the android app?
Android app is ok. The only bug so far is that scheduled cleaning disappears after saving. They will work, just won't appear for you to edit or delete.

Anyone having the vacuum move couple of inches forward after it is fully charged and detaching it from the base? Happened twice in 12 hours
Happened to me once. Also has trouble lining up to charge. One time it couldn't find home after spot cleaning.

Finally, the auto empty leaves a bunch of carpet fiber and hair in the bin, even after repeated emptying commands. This could be a show stopper for me...

If you look on page 6 someone recommended trying bags made for the Proscenic M8 on Amazon. I ordered them and they were an exact fit. Much cheaper then the OEM bags.
