The only other main benefit of the triband vs dual band is when your using wireless backhaul the connection because its independent is usually a little bit stronger. Which will help in congested areas, not a lot but some.
I would go with the X60 in a heart beat if that was my only options. I paid a bit more $280 when the Tp-Link AX5700 were on sale and am using those beasts.

I also HATE setting up new systems. There always seems to be an issue with at least one or two of the devices.

Did you have a V1 system? I heard there are issues with V1 vs V2 but not sure if those have been address via firmware updates, etc or not.
