The fact that people just started accepting flagship phones with no expandable storage will never stop making me mad

Apple started it because they are Apple and then Samsung and Google decided they wanted to be Apple

Stop it people!
How much on board storage does one need in 2021 with cloud storage available.

Unlocked for any carrier to use

Bootloader unlocking depends on if it's a Verizon (IMEI starts with 35) it's locked and if its a Google Edition (IMEI starts with 99) its unlocked.

Some people say they had a Google Editions last time, the two I sent back were both Verizon.

This is also a hit or a miss - one phone had screen burn bad and the other was fine.
Thanks,
I want to run another OS, so Verizon is out. Shadow images, this phone is notorious for this.

Shadow images are easy to see when they "refurbish", cough, them, aka inspect them, they should be grouped sold much lower.

Got my phone yesterday.

Cosmetically the phone is in good condition.
Charger and cable are pretty cheap. They appear to be dollar store quality. It took close to 3 hours to charge the phone up from 0%.
The battery is at 79% health. Below the 85% they guarantee.
I ran the battery down to nothing in about 3 hours with moderate reddit and twitter use.

It's going to be going back. I don't know if I am going to try another to see if its any better.

Edit:
I ordered a 128gb one to replace the one above and the camera is broken. Its blurry and doesn't focus. So that is 2 going back. I think I might look into a pixel 4/4a.

Not that it means anything concrete, but I have my Pixel 3XL enrolled in the Android 12 beta just to have a look (eligible pixels back to the '3' series). It would seem odd that Google would include the 3XL in the 12 beta program just to orphan it when 12 releases.

Can confirm, I have a Pixel 4a and can no longer connect to my work wifi for this reason. It's incredibly frustrating and makes me wonder if I should jump ship to iOS at this point. I'm guessing this will eventually happen to all Android phones as they get the latest updates
Can someone explain this more? I'm super happy with my Pixel 3A but why would I not be able to use WiFi anywhere I have a password. Is there an article I can read?

Try installing app and game binaries in the cloud instead of your phone/SD card storage.

Install accubattery in your phone (not doable if you don't have enough space and just relying on cloud storage like a couple of posts above implied LOL!). https://play.google.com/store/app...ccubattery

Uninstall a game you no longer play because you can always redownload it? Do you need 80 games? I'm just asking lol.

799 original price is a joke.
To be fair, that's likely the MSRP from when these phones first came out and were considered top of the line flagships.

Obviously, no one is going to pay $799 for a Pixel 3 in 2021.

It only affects connections to enterprise networks.
