Regarding the bootloader, you just have check your phone by following these steps:

If the "OEM Unlocking" option is greyed out, it's probably locked.
Two visible scratches on two corners (which are now covered with a case.) No screen scratch. I can charge it to 100%. Wireless charging works, too. Speaker works. I updated its Android version ... blah blah, I really can't see any functionality issues.
IMEI starts with 35 and the Google repair check says US VZ, to. so it's Verizon. I put my currently iPhone AT&T SIM card into it. Voice calls work in & out. So it's unlocked, right? I followed the 2nd link to check unlocked status but my System settings do not show Developer mode option. What else do I need t check?
