Yes! We tried it during July 4th show and it's pretty terrible when the ground is damp. That sheeet will suck up any moisture from the ground if you use it as a picnic blanket. We didn't think it was worth it trying to get all the gunk that stuck and tossed it as well. It sucks yeah….Do a favor and get an actual picnic blanket with a waterproof backing to be used on the grass.

Just went camping over the weekend at Kachess Lake Washington and used this blanket. 55°f at night. No complaints. Worked perfectly this year and last. Same area.

2. its about 3-4lb, not 1.3lb
3. if you want free shipping, you can pre order a video game with it. and then cancel the video game after the blanket ships. yes you're bad. but its ok.
4. size is about 4" shorter in both dimensions compared to a queen size blanket.
