The MediaTek 8183C is significantly weaker than the N4020 celeron but it'll still get the job done on web tasks, just slower. You get a couple more hours of battery life in return although both will get you through the day.

If they haven't changed the screen the Acer one is IPS with a weak gamut but otherwise pretty good. The HP has a TN panel.

what are the diff between this na0010nr and na0060nr [bestbuy.com]?

the only thing i can tell is the color difference.

these new mediatek really got me though. i always avoid the celeron line. so these mediatek chips really got the customers who dont know much about the new tech.

As you say, I think the color is the only difference. They both will get basic web stuff done. I've always felt that 10,000 octane - what the 8183C is the dividing line. Acceptable but slower. The N4020 should be noticeably faster.

They both do what they are supposed to do to provide low-cost internet access without worries. My best advice is to buy a cheap and expensive chromebook so you can actually feel the difference. Run an Octane test on your windows/mac Laptop and then you can get a gauge for the Web tasks.

Thanks much for clarifying. I was expecting the difference between this and the Acer 311 N4020 model in terms of comparison. This really helps in choosing one over another.
