Did they increase their shipping charge?
Home Depot has the reconditioned unit for $80 that comes with a battery. Factory blemished here with DT is prob better than a reconditioned unit, but the HD option is there if someone needs a battery.

I would recommend the first two in this search link:

Actually, I see no reason to not pick the one with a battery, just $4 more in checkout.
30% off will be applied automatically not until in checkout process.

DTO's "blemished" are brand new in box. You'd be hard pressed to ever find a blemish.

I think this one is the perfect model as a trade off between power and weight. Aside from wet leaves, it does everything I need. Variable is key to blowing out the garage.

I need to look up the inter-usability of the batteries and chargers... I assume the newer ONE+ batteries can be used in the older non + tools? So long as you're using the 40v with a 40v tool and 18 with 18?

I have a 5 year old mower and leaf blower (came as a combo) with the 40v and a separate 18v trimmer and charger. Can you charge newer batteries on the older chargers?? Even if they take longer?

You can use the new batteries on old tools and old batteries on new tools but using an old charger depends on what kind of battery it charges, you cannot use NiCad charger to charge li-ion battery or vice versa as the voltage and working principles are different. same type batteries can be charged with new or old charger but don't mix battery type and charger type

Awesome, thank you. I'll double check if I have Li-ion or ni-cad batteries/chargers to compare to the new ones.

My wife uses this for deck and porch. I also blow grass clippings off driveway after mowing and edging. Great for that.

In fall I have to use gas powered blower for leaves. This can not handle heavy work.

Pretty annoyed I didn't get an alert for this as I need it and been waiting a while. I'm using it to blow porch and driveway so I don't really need it to blow wet piles of leaves on a lawn or anything.

Just get this one for same price with a battery (add to cart for extra 30% off): https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ryobi-P2...632-2357-0

They sell out fast so may have to keep checking back.
