No. Not sure where they get this from. Tbh I think people just don't know their sizes (I'm 16/32 tailored fit). Regular is baggy and made.to accommodate almost everyone. Tailored is made to silhouette better and fits someone who's in decent shape and doesn't have a round midsection (think 10-20 lbs above idea weight).
Folks could always go to a store location to have their reps fit you...

Thank you! I'm actually 16/32 too! With an athletic build. Do you think tailored or slim woukd be better?
Probably tailored. It's really a question of how muscular you are in the chest, shoulders, and forearms. I've found slim to be uncomfortable at times even if it does silhouette better (you have to pick your poison off the rack). You can always tailor to get bagginess out as well. I did this for a white jos a banks shirt i use exclusively for interviews

That said, its always better to go try on clothes if you can.

This is a fantastic deal for dress shirts, period. In for 6, thanks, OP!
Used to be a great brand but has gone totally downhill. Even their stores suck now...imo.
I had bought a JosABank flannel shirt in the early 90's and that shirt lasted me over ten years with lots of washings. Never pilled and always looked good. I think I paid $25 back then and in today's money that would be a $80 shirt. Things are always changing they were a very good brand, kind of like Brooks Brothers today.
