oats, as in oatmeal?
If we assume they are just hemp seeds and nothing else, the nutrition info doesn't match with shelled hemp seeds like the ones from Costco. This one has way less mono and polyunsaturated fats.. 🙃
Any thoughts?
Yes, it is worrisome with this and so many things from Walmart and Amazon, etc. So many lies, so much skirting of responsibility make the Walmart family very rich, and Bezos the richest douche in the world

Lol… feel the same
Almond milk
Banana
Hemp protein
Collagen peptides
Frozen berries
Scoop of super greens
If I replace the hemp protein with regular whey protein, my smoothie comes out a bit sweeter. But like I said, no funky tastes with the hemp

This product isn't even close to its ideally processed state for maximum protein absorption. It would cost multiples more to do so. And to go further; long-term intake would accelerate enzyme depletion - especially amongst pre-existing conditions and the elderly.
Reap what you sow.
- Arrived In 2 days, no delay
- It is earthy, but it's HEMP protein. I think people need to understand the implications of that.
- The taste is indeed earthy, but I did a 50/50 split of regular protein with hemp protein and it's very pallatable
- The 'seed' of the hemp protein settles at the bottom of the shaker cup, so it does not mix well
Bottom line, for $2/lb, with the right expectations on taste, and providing the nutritional value is accurate; this protein is an excellent source of non-dairy protein. This product isn't even close to its ideally processed state for maximum protein absorption. All of this is true if the goal is to maximize protein intake. This product is not designed for someone looking to do that. The micronutrient profile is obviously much broader than whey isolate, and the fiber content is high.

Ingredients are listed on the photo of the nutritional info. It is Canadian Hemp protein powder. It would make sense that the fats would be reduced in this product compared to just pure hulled hemp seeds.

That's actually my primary reason for purchasing. I add it to my smoothies to get extra fiber. The protein is just a little bonus.
