I usually buy these for hurricane season to have a backup line/phone service with an opposite carrier and I need ATT based MVNO so this fits the bill. But does anyone know how long after purchase do they expire if I don't activate it right away? Thx

You may loose your number forever. I almost did when I switched to freedom pop once. Never again.
You could transfer your number to google voice. Then just get a new number from whichever company is having a sale. We switch around between mint, cricket, and visible most often. When the intro pricing expires we let the number die and move on to the next deal, unless of course metro is having a good port in deal. You never have to worry about your number being lost, always have your number when on wifi or data over seas, and can always get the intro deals.

These are like the only guys I've never tried. Probably works fine just like any att mvno as long as you live in a good coverage area. I like att mvno and in my opinion they have all always seemed the exact same to me.

Warned: I was freedom pop customer 2 year ago, on July 19th they charged my CC 35$. Reason. They had my account active from past two years , now they changed type of plan, Send me a e mail, which was in spam. mail message says opt out from this account change else default we will enroll in to new account and will be 35$ each month.
I am so glad i checked my account statement this time and found this. though they didnt refund me , but cancelled my account and deleted CC on account

Mint su**s in this area. Can't even get a signal outside of the house. For some ppl, Unreal (an AT&T MVNO) has been the best deal, esp. since Verizon sold out to Frontier around here.

If you're happy with Mint, stick with it. Out of curiosity: why even bother responding if you know you won't switch to Unreal?

Isn't it 4gb for $15+taxes, only if you pay for 12 months? Do they have 10gb for $15 per month plan now?

No idea if it's a RIGHT NOW deal, but that's what I paid. I don't live on my phone, but it does get very heavy usage at work and 10GB is more than enough. Mint has plenty of deals every few months, so should be easy to score one.
