Such as? I'm not aware of any other 15-inch laptop this light, unless you count the Acer Swift 7 (which has very underpowered Y-series processors).

I think BF will be good this year for deals. I think retailers will want to unload machines pre-installed with Windows 10 as Windows 11 will be released in October

The official policy for price match is 30 days. Anything beyond that is up to the discretion of the person helping you at the return counter. One time I was successful getting a price adjustment past 30 days, but was still told it was an exception.

Frankly, it's kind of strange the return window is longer than the price adjustment window. So people usually just buy a new item at the lower price, then return the new unit with the older receipt. This may work if the receipt does not log the serial number for the machine.

Yeah, price match is 30 days not 90. If they do not put a serial number on the receipt you can buy a brand new one, walk out of store and back in to returns with it unopened and return it with old receipt

Ok, thanks. Perhaps I'll try this. Not the end of the world if I do t get the 200 back. Wife loves it and I wasnt expecting a price drop when I bought it.

Mostly just mad at myself.

Yes technically the price match window is 30 days. However, if the sale is still running, I just tell them that I'd rather not return a used item and buy a brand new item. It's worse for your store and more inconvenient for me. They've always gone and done the PM after that logic.

Tried again. Was rejected even after pointing out I could buy and return. I asked the manager if I should just go buy it and come right to the return desk. He said no I needed to bring in the original unit o had purchased. I was like, you can't tell which laptop came from which receipt so why waste our time and destroy value for Costco/lg by retuning a used laptop.

He told me it's illegal to return the wrong one? So I bought it and will return it during my next trip.

He made this way more difficult than it needed to be, lucky for him I love Costco still

Bad luck with crappy rep and you were too honest. Unless they put the serial number on the receipt which some electronic stores do, you will be fine. Just sucks you have to make another trip
