Did you actually read those links? The first one goes over the drawbacks of larger QLC SSDs and that the drive isn't intended as a primary system drive. The latter two are larger PCIe 4.0 devices with a bunch of 1 TB modules connected in RAID, not something you could use to replace an M2 drive. Technology will get there but there's some hurdles.

I purchased a Dell G5 about 2 months ago it only has 250gb. Would this fit ? Also would this be a decent speed for light gaming?

This will for but rather wait for the hk p31 as that has dram.. These don't.

Have a PCIE 4 drive for my main drive, but have one of these for storage it's actually been really good for game load times sometimes "faster" than my Gen 4 drive

Open your pc and look at the form factor of the nvme SSD inside. If it is a 2280 size (looks like a long stick of gum), then yes. Dell usually does not buy these and sometimes the proprietary motherboards use 2230 shorties but it's possible.

That sounds about right. Very few things can saturate even the high speed pcie 3 drives, including games. You won't see a performance difference unless you have a very specific use case.

Gen 5 SSDs don't exist and Gen 4 SSDs are massively overpriced, so this is appropriately a Gen 3.
