Just wanted to share an encouraging thought. If any of y'all are able to use this coupon and you do get a significant discount, compared to what you normally pay for a haircut, you should use that as an opportunity to tip a little more generously. 🤠

do you realize that there are plenty of peer-reviewed studies out there showing that there is statistical significance in the tipping disparity for waitresses/waiters of different races? that alone should suggest that tipping is a toxic culture, not to mention the entitlement complex to go along with service providers expecting tips, and the variance in the amount each person tips for the same type of service. the US is one of the few countries in the world with this ridiculous culture, and it was founded from a time where owners were struggling. absent of COVID, that struggle is no longer relevant.

yes, it is actually as simple as abolishing tipping and having employers pay their employees more and employers can subsequently choose to up their prices for compensate. this way, things are actually normalized and not reliant on things of high variance.

I tip just a couple of dollars regardless (as long as they did fine during cut). I would tip more, but as a guy with pretty small amount of hair, not tipping $5 coupon or not when I am in and out of the chair in under 10 min I think. If I had a lot of hair or got some special style cut, then would consider more easy. Also, we are not talking personal stylist here, so if I got the same person over and over, would be different as well. Thanks for posting op as it is past due for a cut.

People on past threads have stated that the codes are usually specific to certain regions, but in the past, I have been able to successfully use promo codes at my local great clips that were targeted for other regions. YMMV

You can call ahead and ask if the coupon code works. The last couple posted on here didnt work for me. But if you like Great Clips on Facebook, you'll see this promo when it is available in your area. And still call before you get one in your area to make sure the location you are wanting to go to is participating. When "Kansas City" is listed, only about half of the Great Clips are participating in the promotion. It's up to the franchise owner if they participate or not. There's one franchise owner in KC that has a pedicure/eyebrow place located next to each one of his Great Clips location, and he NEVER participates in these promos.
