Would you be able to recycle when you throw?
j/k
That said, the handles are plastic, you you may have to separate them from the blades before recycling, depending on the rules of your local program.
except maybe the serrated one; that one's hard to see. My set didn't come with that particular blade so I can't confirm.

Lol. There was a time when people actually had facts to back up their statements. Show us the data that these cause CANCER.
Lol. I've owned these for at least 6-7 years. I keep them sharp and use them at least twice a week. Of course the coating comes off along the edge where you sharpen them. What would you expect to happen when you are physically removing material as you sharpen? Lol. The coating does NOT come off above the sharpened edge. They don't "chip" as some people claim. After each sharpening I wipe the edge along a cloth to remove any tiny particles, just as I do with any other knife, coated or not. And NONE of the handles have shown any wear or become loose. I don't baby these and they get washed in the dishwasher a couple times a week...for YEARS.
Every 5 star review with pictures is of the set fresh out of the box. Thousands of reviews of the product before a single person has cut a single food item. It's absurd. As soon as you get to the rare negative review it's from a person who actually used them. Handles falling off, paint chipping, paint wearing off on the food, ect. One of the pictures even shows a person cutting into a block of cheese and leaving purple on it. Also take a look at the ones where the handles fell off. The tang on the thing is like a 1/2" long. There is no way that holds up to any sort of rigorous use by it's very design.

These roughly $1.50/each knives are NOT for "rigorous" use.
I'm sure there are defective knives out there.
I know mine are holding up VERY well and don't leave coating chips on my food.
I like them so much I've given them as gifts to family and friends over the years.
Btw..i bet fakespot would call my post "fake". Lol. I guarantee it's algorithm is set up for sentences like "liked it so much I gave as gifts to family and friends" 😂😂😂😂
