Did everyone use R10 6% CB while buying this? Isn't Slickdeals giving 8% CB in Lenovo?
Yes but I like getting my amex Mr for 2 cents on the point. Still contemplating what to do with the 2 17s and 1 16 I bought given that my Alienware M15 came today with 3060 and the net after tax cost of that was ~900 lol

I'm in a similar boat. My 3060 M15 R5 delivered recently for a price similar to yours, and I ordered 2 17 inchers the other day. I think I will keep the M15 though since there's a lot of time between now and the expected Legion 5 shipping date (November 22) where the Legion 5 orders could get cancelled.

Just curious, how are you getting 2 cents on the point?

Would it be a flat 8% CB on the subtotal for this particular purchase? Are there any estimates for turnaround time before receiving the reward?

I get rktn cb in the form of amex MR points vs actual cash back and redeem them for business class flights so the actual redemption value is 2c if you follow the points guy

Not sure. I only used slickdeals CB once back in April when I bought a monitor for 200$ which was supposed to give me 2.5% cashback. I see it gives me 500 redeemable points, and it seems leach 1000 points can be redeemed for a 10$ PayPal gift card. I think it will be similar here?

How portable is the legion 5 pro? And does anyone know of any cheap and good quality bags that would fit it?

Depends on how you define portable... It's not a huge, chunky beast like the old gaming laptops. But it's also not a featherlight. The laptop chassis itself without the screen is as thick as some of the other laptops with the screen. It's also heavy-ish.

It looks like the slickdeals extension saids up to 8% back on top of the deal price. Not sure if the cashback from SD will be a flat 8% for these laptops back when the deal was active.

According to the spec sheet it supports two m2 SSD's and no HDD's? So assuming you upgraded to the 1 tb SSD, you will get a 512 gb 2242 SSD and a 1 tb 2280 SSD

Yeah it's not like one of those small-ish gaming laptops but I'm wondering if people actually travel with these ones on a daily basis. I guess I'll find out lol

Someone mentioned earlier they should ship with 1 x 1TB nvme in slot 1 and then whatever was selected for the "second drive". So HOPEFULLY we get 2TB total. Probably wont know until they ship / if.

Looking into it more, it's probably not likely to have 2TB. Probably best to expect 1TB, and anything more would just be bonus.

If you go and configure it with the max amount like i assume everyone did it says under SSD "Comes in 512GB and 2 x 1TB configurations. Selecting 1TB SSD will add a second 1TB SSD." So if I'm understanding that right it should ship with 2 1TB SSD's as long as that was selected and not the 512gb SSD.
