My L5Pro ship date just got pushed back from October 20th to November 30th with arrival on December 7th, just like everyone else. This is a bit aggravating even in light of the steep discount considering the ship time has changed twice now. Once after ordering (when it was 10-12 business days), and now here again. I wonder if it will change a third or fourth time? The 30 series Super laptop GPUs are now going to be right around the corner when this arrives, and possibly AMD Zen 4 CPUs, as well. Man, what a deal, but still disappointing.

Yea, increased RAM to 32 GB and went for additional ssd. Also opted for Stingray, maybe that's why...?

Maybe, but I wouldn't think the color option would make that much of a difference. It should be the GPU and CPU that are the manufacturing bottleneck.

Guys, how much time should we wait before canceling the order if it's gonna take this long to ship? I don't want to end up paying my cc bill with this large amount & wait for like 6 months & end up returning this thing cause something better came along!

I hear you. I'm not sure what to do either. I mean, really? It's now arriving on December 7th? I'm a student, and the semester is going to be almost over for me by then. The way I paid (PayPal), I've already been billed and have the full amount pending on my credit card. It'll probably post tomorrow.

Please read some of the earlier posts. Right now this is just a preauthorization hold (the hold should drop off in several business days) and you won't be officially charged for the order until it ships. At that time you can decide whether or not you still want to keep the order. Historically, Lenovo is pretty good with returns. My feeling is that the order will still be worth keeping at the estimated time of shipping even if newer tech comes along (keep in mind that Lenovo laptops equipped with this newer tech may take months to ship out as well).

It was Oct 20 after I placed the order on 28th and got updated to Aug 13 couple of hours back.
