You're supposed to use the card assuming you don't have that money available for other purchases. If you need that money for something else then you have to cancel your order. If you max out your card and Lenovo tries to get a new authorization before shipping then that authorization will fail and they will cancel your order.s
Is there any way to pay this early so that I can increase the limit?

Do you only have one card with a low limit?
I have another. But I wanted to take advantage of Discover PayPal 5% CB in another purchase since I could not do that in this one, unfortunately.

Have you call your card company and asked them to increase the credit limit? If you have been with them for at least a year and have a good standing history, they should increase the limit no problem.

You could buy something really expensive like $2000. pay for it when it has posted and then return it for the credit. Morality question aside of course

Having this card for only 6 months. Probably won't increase my limit anyway, disappointing.

As long as you don't open it, don't see morality problem with that.

I had to order a replacement machine because my prior machine under warranty (a thinkpad from 2017) had no replacement parts available. The ETA they give for everything is definitely on the conservative side. By conservative, I mean literally months later than when the item actually comes.

The order was placed with no arrival for 14-18 weeks, but I got it within one month.

Similar situation with a broken docking station. Order placed in mid-April, slated for delivery at the end of the summer. It arrived here by memorial day.

Ill also add my data point: my Legion 5 (non-pro) was slated to ship on November 22...now its moved down to November 30th, slated for Dec. 7 arrival.

Why hasn't Lenovo just camcelled these orders??
I'm not sure if these orders will be cancelled. For the Legion 5 Pro in this deal, the subtotal is $100 more than the Walmart deal (not counting any employer/education/military discounts or cashback) for Windows 10 Pro upgrade + extra RAM and storage.

Don't get me wrong: It's still a great deal, but not necessarily a steal.

A smarter way to cancel implicitly is to delay the delivery so long that a lot of people would bail out.

449 MSRP

Got it for 165 price mistake.

They delayed for 5 months and i never gave up.

Your persistence paid off. I will wait out unless the order will be cancelled by Lenovo. I am using an almost five year old MSI with a GTX 1070. It still works fine. I have no urgent need to have the new laptop. We will see if the orders will be shipped earlier than the current estimates.
