I had both and returned the Asus. They are pretty much similar gaming wise. I kept the pro because of the screen, numpad, premium feel, mux switch, ports location. I do miss the battery life from the Asus tho, that R9 is a beast for battery.

Need help deciding if I should keep Asus G15 advantage or return it and wait for L5P. I was able to get G15 for $1,331 after tax and from this thread, $1,585 after tax for max-out L5P. Aside from un-upgradable pros & cons between two machines (L5P better screen and built while G15 better CPU and GPU), that's is a $250 extra for additionals 16GB and 1.5TB of nvmes. I'm not sure if the extra wait and money will be worth it for L5P.
