I also got the "your order is almost ready to ship" email last night, but my estimated delivery date went from September 7th back to December a couple days ago, and it hasn't changed. So weird. I'm not going to cancel because I'm plenty happy with my 2021 G14, but looking forward to the big GPU boost when the L5 17" gets here.

Based on the purchasable L5 17's on Lenovo's website, I think the ones we ordered will come with a 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD and a 1 TB SSD assuming you maxed that option out.

Both my stingray Pros arrived today (Houston, TX). 2 hard drives (1TB + 1TB) if that was still a question for anyone.

Shipping estimate from date of notification was off by nearly a week. They were supposed to arrive last Thursday.

Does the keyboard have RGB? If we try to build one now then it dosen't allow the RGB option for the stingray.
Also honestly how does the stingray look compared to the storm gray? Would i be missing on any major aesthetics? Personally i liked the Alienware M15/M17 styled look but not sure how it actually feels on a Legion?

I did not get the RGB. The reviews I read said it wasn't an option and I didn't want to make a option selection that might be invalid/delay shipment.
