If you zoom into the left fan and look just below and to the right, you'll see the missing connector labeled JHDD1.
I'm assuming the 17" model is the same but maybe I'm wrong. But the previous gen 15" and 17" models both supported 2.5" drives, so these newer ones probably don't
They definitely want me to cancel.

I think i can see on your pic that your port has been removed…, but you can literally see where a 2.5" hdd would go. Sucks yours is gone.
