The option to turn on freesync can't be toggled
It says display not support as the reason.
I wonder if some L517s have different panels in them.
I guess we will find out more about this issue in the coming days.
But come on people lots of you guys got your laptops today.

But what's not forgivable is that my laptop was advertised to have freesync

FreeSync was expected to be on the L5 17, and it's still listed under the Tech Specs section of the page: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/la...en101g0010
I am sad to say the display has no Dolby vision as well
So no freesync and no Dolby vision
both which are advertised under the specs page.
I wonder if Lenovo sent the coupon glitches a lower end panel that lack these features
To recoup some of their losses.

I hardly play video games, so no freesync is not a big deal for me.
I like the monitor: it's easy on my eyes. Thermals seem to be better than my other laptop ASUS Rog Strix g15 advantage edition.
Overall, I am very pleased with my new L5 17!
