Awesome deal, snagged the 3/8".
I personally like the idea of a 3/8" stubby impact over the 1/2". If I need to use the stubby, it probably means I'm in a tight spot where the 3/8" is better suited.
AFAIK the torque ratings between the two are exactly the same, so if you have 3/8" impact sockets already, I say this is a better way to go and leave the 1/2" to a mid or high torque impact wrench.

The ideal setup is stubby 3/8, mid 1/2, high 3/4 imo.

I agree except I would probably wanna use this on the go rather than my full size M18 impact since this is lighter and smaller.

Damn it. Oh well now I can pretend to wait for the 1100 ft lbs ryobi in October
