Picked this grill up today for $348, marked down from $797. With all Walmart mark downs, it's YMMV. In my case brickseek was accurate with their inventory count. Searching for YouTube reviews, it seems this is a pretty solid pellet grill. Happy hunting.

Anyone know about this model? The cheaper Woodcreek one they've been discounting for past half year or so seems to comes with issues within a few months.
It's weird. Checked stock of this item and only 3 stores even show in the search, but if I switch to check the pitboss Austin xl then about 10 stores show up. Not sure what is going on.
After looking at the reviews on Walmart's website, I think I will take a hard pass. With more than 20% giving it a one star review, I am guessing it would be a disappointing purchase for many.
Seems like the only good reviewers / YouTube reviews were promotional. It looks like it's made of thin sheet metal. Many complaints about quality, parts breaking almost instantly, customer service issues, etc. I do like the size and the price point, but I think this one is going to be a hard pass. It probably wouldn't last more than a few seasons.

I literally just finished a 12 hour brisket on this smoker as I'm writing this review. Went for the woodcreek came home with the Clermont, the manager at Baldwin Park hooked it up with a discount on top of clearance. It's super simple to use, I am no smoking pro, but with YouTube and a foolproof set up this smoker makes it super easy to get into it. My brisket had a beautiful smoke ring and tasted delicious. The only cons I would say is the WiFi is really choppy and would have to reconnect every other time (iOS), whilst this happens if your grill happens to reach temp the app freaks out and doesn't stop alarming until you full close it out. It's also very heavy, you need at least two people for installation, at the midpoint of setting up your smoker it will require you to lift the top cabinet onto the legs you just installed. Besides that the 40LB hopper, lights, French doors, app and huge real estate makes this, for me, a top notch smoker. I originally wanted a Traeger smoker but it's way too expensive for something half this size. If you're looking for big cook outs and ease of use, look no further, this is the smoker for you.
