Got this at launch and very much enjoy it. Would love a deal like this for the switch version. Emulators etc. work fine, but this is well worth the convenience and has other goodies such as being a Steam title and having training mode for many of the titles.

Also, I don't get the thrashing of anything that's not SFII. From this batch alone, I enjoy SF Alpha 2 and Third Strike more.

I enjoyed Super Mario 64 more than any other Mario game when I first played it, but I'm not ignorant to the fact that in a bubble there are better titles.

Reading a few reviews on Steam that mention playing using Fightcade instead. Apparently Fightcade is better option to play online multiplayer retro games including Street Fighter.

Based on your comments, I'm assuming there's no crossplay between platforms for the anniversary addition? That would be a nice feature.

There isn't any cross play unfortunately.

If you're planning on buying this to be able to play online against people on PC, I strongly urge to download Fightcade (it's free) and the roms of whatever Street Fighter games you want to play.

You'll have zero issues with finding people to play against and the connection will be great.

Fightcade...I see how that works. Was going to buy...forget it. No point.

Also I am using launchbox so no need for this. Now you can connect launchbox to Fightcade for a real gaming system.
