  1. Go to Discover.com and login to your account
  2. Go to the Cashback Calendar page
  3. Click "Activate Now" for the offer Oct-Dec: Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Target.com 5% Cashback Bonus
  4. Make purchases at any of the following stores to begin earning the 5% Cashback Bonus:

Note: Cashback applies to purchases made between 10/1/21 and 12/31/21 only. Activate to earn 5% Cashback Bonus at Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Target.com from 10/1/21 (or the date on which you activate 5%, whichever is later) through 12/31/21, on up to $1,500 in purchases.

I've never forgotten to activate a quarterly CB but it's kind of dumb that we have to activate it.
It should just be automatic.

I get these every day of the year with my Capital One Walmart, Target Redcard, and Amazon Signature Visa. These are all $0 AF cards.

Who cares about Discover?

They're 3 different websites. For online ordering. You have a card saved on each website in your account, and you keep the cards in your desk/safe and don't even bother with a wallet. There's no juggling.

That would make too much sense. It's like those coupons that you must "clip" to get the savings.

To get 5% cash back on Amazon purchases July thru Sept, use Paypal to pay your Amzn bill. How? Paypal now has a virtual debit card (Mastercard). Use that Mastercard number to pay Amzn. Then have your Paypal bill paid from Discover. It works! 5% cashback.

Gotta think outside of the box folks.
