- Make purchases at any of the following stores to begin earning the 5% Cashback Bonus:

Cashback applies to purchases made between 10/1/21 and 12/31/21 only. Activate to earn 5% Cashback Bonus at Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Target.com from 10/1/21 (or the date on which you activate 5%, whichever is later) through 12/31/21, on up to $1,500 in purchases.

I get the same error. I have a discover it chrome card.
$75 max rewards ?
oooh ahhhh … i spend $1500 and get back…$75 !?

Im on THEIR calendar?
And no more other perks like travel insurance, rental ins, etc.
$150 shld be the bare minimum by now for all CB cards and No (or broad range of) categories not revolving on a calendar
Last time discover was any good they gave 5% back on all bestbuy, home depot, etc purchases ALL THE TIME
Even if im just on a older card i dont see any of theirs offerjng anything i dont already get and then some from other better cards

Since Discover Bank is closing down accounts in good standing, then black mailing said customers into signing a contract which legally gives Discover Bank lifetime access to customers IRS records many people (myself included) have cancelled their Discover cards. I'm guessing this post like many others are made for marketing or advertising purposes.
