My wife and I bought these 5 months ago, ebikes are great fun. The MINI a nice bike. I've added a nice Brooks saddle and racks since purchasing and find myself running errands with the bike just for fun. The bike goes 20 MPH fairly easy, not too much more difficult than walking. I highly recommend this bike. For reference I'm 6'3" 280.

The sur Ron isn't even the same kind of bike. The sur Ron is nice, but it's a borderline electric dirt bike, not a portable errand bike

no kidding. I have an Espin Flow and it will hit 28-30 mph but I never go that fast. Well, once or twice just to see but it's way too fast for a bike.

some ebikes from bangg**d.com under $600 perform as good as those over $1k~$1.5k are trail rated with battery pack 13aH about the same weights of the double loaded m249. if the hills are too steep with angle of 45 or more, just carry it on your shoulder and walk without feeling exhausted after getting on the top of the hills.

That's the max recommended for the step thru model, but mini 4 up to 6'2".
