Thanks for the response. I'm on a b550 motherboard at the moment. I will just keep the 5600x for now. Graphics cards are still hard to find but was able to get a 3090 from Newegg raffle and will just upgrade motherboard and CPU in 2023 or when needed.

I was having issues with the 5900x. Game kept stuttering. I think it was too many threads bit I'm not a computer expert. Will see how the 5600x runs. Hopefully no issues.

Bought it a few weeks ago from BH with their Payboo card $398 out the "door" when Microcenter has it for $380 + tax.
At 10% tax, even at current MC's price, I only paid only $2 more than having to reserve and drive 1 hour to MC.

It the dumbest to wait another year and pay premium for every hardware that can benefit from those new tech.
It will take at least another 2 year for those to drop to the price of current "old" tech.

Oh you mean the cheap one with no heatsink. Prices of DDR5 will be perfect when Zen 4 is out.

That is so seriously good shopping. Glad it worked out. Now I know it must be 15 miles for a price match.

Probably like 125w at full load. TDP isn't a measurement of power usage though, it's thermal design power, aka heat. Different coolers haven't different tdp ratings.
