Remember if you live in NYC area the Micro Center in Paterson NJ only charges 3.2% tax instead ofthe apporx 8.9 yet charged in NYC and Yonkers

I like that prices are dropping. Almost want to upgrade the 2700x but will wait for more price drops. Plus not as worth it for QHDUW.

Costco seems like the best club store from what I see here (the deals I cant get). We have a BJs and its minor league compared to Costco. I don't even bother joining anymore

That's smart because you aren't saving anything. My employer pays me around 50 cents a mile to drive my car for work. That's based on what they calculate the average cost is to drive a car with gas, wear and tear, insurance, depreciation etc. So driving 40 miles costs around $20 and you would just be wasting your time.

I don't even pay $5 in tolls. As I said - "NYC" area (meaning metro). I didn't say Manhattan, Brooklyn etc. My in-state Yonkers store (I'm in Westchester) and NJ store are practically the same miles away. For NJ I have a $2 bridge toll (Bear Mt) and a couple minor tolls in NJ. If I buy 1k worth of parts I can pay 89 tax or 32. No need to pay an extra 57. Plus NY roads are a disaster. As soon as I hit NJ line, the roads are like America again

Actually, according to Best Buy's price match policy, a local competitor must be within a 25 mile radius. I'm not sure how they measure the distance though. Since the distance I measured and their distance sometimes doesn't match up. I'd suggest you call their customer support number to confirm whether a specific store is eligible. The number I used is 1-888-237-8289. That said, you may be lucky and have a store with a good manager that will do the price match regardless of distance away from Micro Center.
