I mean obviously most use cases are much better with an actual smart switches.. but I was planning on wiring a few things out to smart contacts to control them remotely..

I guess I don't have to do that now. Lol.

I have an aquarium light that's controlled only with a touch sensitive pad to do day/night cycle. Thinking I'll rip off those capacitive rubber tips and see if that works so I can be extra lazy!

Seems a switchbot hub (sold separately) also needed to buy to voice control the switchbot using alexa or google assistant. That adds up $39 more for first time buyers.

It will also work through the phone app with Bluetooth. I have mine turn on my old school Marantz receiver when I'm too lazy to get up.
