Just got a price match approved for the two i7 16gb that I paid $720 each 2 weeks ago. This is the best laptop I have ever used! And I am not a cheap person when it comes to laptop. All my life I paid $2K per laptop every few years, always bought high end HPs, DELLs. And my office always buys me top end Macbook pro models every 3 years. And I am still amazed by this one. The last $2k laptop that I bought was ~5 years ago And my $3500+tax Macbook is only 2 years old. I am sure if I pay $2k now, that will surpass this one. But this is such a nice laptop. I don't think I will ever have to pay $2k for laptops. I guess technology always advances

How is the battery life in yours? I returned mine because the battery was miserable. I would lost 5-10% by put it to sleep overnight. And usage wise it's not only like 5hrs before I have to charge. Not sure if I got a lemon?

edit: before anyone asks, I only used it for web browsing and movie watching. nothing intensive.
I (as well as others) had a similar issue with my Galaxy Book S.

Read through this post and see all of the things i did:

I used to be able to get edu discount with unidays.. but recently it hasn't worked.
I have access to a .edu email. Is that enough to get the discount? If yes, how?

Btw, id.me is a no go for me.

My surface pro does the same - 5-8%. Do you know a laptop that retains its power overnight?

I really like it as tablet. The screen is beautiful and quite responsive. It does feel jittery when swiping/scrolling because I am spoiled by my 120 Hz iPad refresh rate. But there is no hang. It's just visual perception of 60Hz.

In fact I like it so much that I am seriously considering returning my iPad and order another one (my two are for my twins) for my personal tablet use. The big problem is, my company wouldn't let me access corporate resources on my personal windows device. Had a long chat and they refused without company specific imaging and manager approval. That is not a problem for my iPad which has a bunch of company managed apps to access quip, email etc.

i am still hoping Windows 11 Android app support would let me install company specific apps and provision the 2 in 1 as a tablet. If that happens I will try to buy one for myself in the future.
Which one do you like as a tablet? This thread Galaxy Book Flex 2 Alpha? Or Galaxy Book Pro?

I'm trying to read upon the thread that was quoted above. I know my Lenovo laptop doesn't have as much drain, but it also automatically goes to hibernation after it's put to sleep for a certain amount of time, like after a couple hours. This Samsung one doesn't. Even after overnight I flip it open it wakes up like it's been in sleep mode all along. I started putting it in hibernation when I close the lid, and I think it helped some.

There's a Samsung setting called AutoBoot - I wonder if that's doing it. I usually plugin overnight, so don't have the problem.

Not sure. But I actually returned mine. Now I feel like it was a premature decision and I should've given it a try. I did like the other aspects of the unit, and I don't mind the lack of USB c charging. I wonder if I should rebuy this or get the yoga 6 at best buy.

That sucks. I ordered mine 4hrs ago and it's already on a fedex truck.
Any luck with CS in regards to why it's taking so long?

How does this compare to Galaxy book pro? Looks like that has Amoled display and usb-c charging but non-touch display. Which is better overall value?
