While in chat:
1) confirm with the rep that the sim card you bought has the proper minutes/texts/data
2) confirm with the rep what your existing account has for minutes/texts/data
3) ask the rep to add your new sim card stats to your existing account
4) while still in chat, make sure that everything was added correctly (can take a few minutes to update) ask the rep for the totals so that it's on the transcript
5) get the chat transcript and save it
This way if there's any question at all, you have the transcript to prove what you should have.
tl;dr Always use chat

Can you guys please share which carrier should I choose ( ATT compatible or Verizon?) if purchase this Tracfone SIM and plan to use the Simple Mobile iPhone SE? Thanks.
I think it's quite reasonable for someone to wish to protect their privacy with an additional burner number without it being for an illegal or immoral pourpose.
In about phone -> sim status-> It shows mobile network state Disconnected even though I have service. Network shows blank.
When activating the new sim, select to "transfer" your current plan. All the balance will carried over and the expiration date will be extended 1 year from your current expiration date.
If your current plan came with the locked phone, then note that activating a new sim may disqualify the 12-month service to unlock the phone.
thank you!

last time I ordered this was a couple of years ago... after I received it, I didn't open it for about 5 months and it still activated just fine.... is it still the same now?
Thanks!
Thank you for your interest in Net10 Wireless. We are responding to your
recent inquiry.
This is about your inquiry about the item Net10 Prepaid Wireless Phone
Plan + SIM - Unlimited Talk & Text 5GB per Month.
Please be informed that the item mentioned includes only a Verizon
compatible sim in the package. Thus, it will only work on a CDMA
network. Furthermore, the purchased item can be activated at any time.
However, if the ordered item includes a bundled airtime plan, the
airtime plan must be redeemed before a year has passed from the date of
purchase.

Most likely cannot activate this BYOP sim on locked Verizon TF since phone is already in use. (Will ask for phone IMEI).

But will it still qualify for unlocking after the 1 year of service or would they deny you because it wasn't 1 year on "Simple Mobile" service? Has anyone successfully unlocked a Simple Mobile phone with 1 year of Tracfone service?
