Check the FAQ, it said if you have multiple accounts, they go by which one is the oldest. It also said as long as you started service within 90 days of cutting off your previous account, that service is counted. So you should get them to change you to Gold. I can't find the FAQ because it was on the "do you want to join" page, but I read it.

What happens to my Xfinity Rewards tier status if I move?
Your Xfinity Rewards tier status will not be impacted by your move. Simply make sure you re-activate service within 90 days to keep your current Xfinity Rewards tier status.

I'm a diamond member (about 25 years), the best awards I see are a $150 discount on an Xfinity mobile phone purchase and a $100 gift card. I see pretty much everything everyone else has mentioned. So yeah, I'm good with free money. Thanks OP.

Instead of meh rewards, how about more reliable service? Our comcast internet keeps going down. We had their technician look at it, but they can't find the issue.

We'd switch off them, but there is no other viable internet option here in the bay area (AT&T dsl doesn't count).
