My Xfinity (CA Bay Area) said that I had to be off Xfinity for 90 days to get the new customer promo rates -- that they were tracking by service address for 'new customer', and I couldn't just swap to my SO's name/cell immediately. They said I had to gap the service, which I couldn't stomach. I don't know if that was total BS or what. But luckily for me, back on Mother's Day they had some promo 400mpbs for 12 months for only $30/mo (that's $40/mo minus $10/mo for autopay). That was available to EXISTING CUSTOMERS -- offer in our 'upgrade plan' choices page when logged in to acct. ATT was highly promoting $30 or $35/mo(can't remember) for 300mps with their new system in our area -- was considering switching since I was paying Xfinity $45/mo for only 100mps. I guess Xfinity had promo to undercut and compete in our market.

Comcast sucks, been a customer for over twenty years and not eligible for their bs program?? They are the only game in town so stuck.

Mom is a customer for 20+ years (well was originally AT&T so not sure how long with Comcast, but it says Diamond 14+ years. She has only had Xfinity Mobile for like 6 months but qualified for the $100 gift card. They actually gave her a $250 gift card when she signed up for XM so hey, not a bad deal.

Also has the $150 off a phone but she just got a new one, and then a bunch of useless discounts etc. But hey, $100 is $100, thanks OP for the heads up. TU + REP.
