Unlocking the thread, however if it gets out of hand again, it can/will be locked again. Hot Deals is for discussing the item/deal. We all get that sometimes the line between the item and what it may/may not be used for can get blurry. However the deal forum is not the place for that debate and no where on this site is it ever OK to attack other users.

I'm glad they're honest. I don't think any mask truly eliminates exposure to the risk of Covid. They help, but they're not perfect.

The last 50 pk i bought on amazon through SD did not say they were medical grade (i think specifically said they were NOT medical grade). Since these seem to have some medical grade to them I may have to order more.

No mask like this will stop a virus, but the idea is to keep the wearer from spreading water droplets from their mouth that do contain the virus. That was the intent and purpose from day 1 on wearing a mask.

I stocked up on all kinds and passing them around. I might use the three ply for yard work and dust. I found the cone style KN95 to be more comfortable since there is an air space, you don't have fabric touching your mouth and getting wet. Just search SD for KN95 and you'll find good brands like Powecon on sale nearly every week. Great masks to use when cleaning dirty small animal bedding. Dust gets up in your face so easily and this takes care of most of the particulate. Picked up couple hundred more for dusty work like that. Why does every mask deal have to be political?
