I don't understand this, I've never been to a Nike Outlet store and seen a "deal". Their outlet selection always consists of ugly models no one wanted to buy at "50% off" that still end up being $100-$200...
Still priced more than Nike Factory Outlets!

Anyone have a good recommendation for a shoe good for gym cross training? I THINK that's a good shoe I'll need for some basic group fitness, some plyometric and can help the jumping impact, maybe some running, lifting, ect? Not running 5ks but the occasional mile, jog, and hopefully to return to the group fitness classes soon.

The shoes you wear for most running-based sports and exercise shouldn't be worn for any serious lifting. The demands on your body (and the kind of support your foot needs) are very different.
my factory outlet's clearance has been mostly empty and/or hasn't been on sale for quite a while. I've found a few items cheaper on nike's online clearance
Went shopping for sneakers yesterday and skipped the swoosh aisle completely. There aren't any angels in corporate America today, but there are some devils and Nike is one.

Check out the Metcons or similar cross training shoes. They're designed for mostly working out and training movements with the occasional 400m run thrown in there. You'll want a shoe with a flat bottom, decent side support, and protection on the toes/heel (imagine the parts of the shoe that scrape the ground when doing burpees or mountain climbers).
I personally use the FREE RN 2018 Flyknit and definitely find the side to side stability lacking, but I run much more than I lift/workout nowadays and so it doesn't really bother me, but the important part is to go to a store and try things on with someone who is knowledgeable and not just trying to make a sale.

Are you saying all shoe manufacturers are devils... or just Nike?
And what makes them worse than AT&T, Monsanto and others?

I bought these, they are really uncomfortable and feel like plastic. My suggestion, but a couple of shoes and keep only what you want. Hope this helps
