Basic "dumb" slow charger that charges batteries in pairs. Nothing special. Also the two batteries have low mah relative to eneloop batteries. The deal was posted by "staff" which automatically means it gets a lot thumbs up regardless of how good the deal is.
This is a good deal if you need a charger. Energizer rechargeables are Japan-made, last I checked. The charger is probably made in China...but is probably a decent, basic charger.
Of course, this is not a good way to get Japan-made AA batteries....and you will probably not want 10 of these chargers.
This is good right? 21 thumbs up after 9 minutes, but no comments.
If these are the made in japan energizers batteries. Yes it's a good deal. I have had great success with them on rough applications I don't want to lose my eneloops too. (Swiffer wet jet, xbox controllers, various remotes)
Its also a good deal if the charger is any good. I cant speak on that as I have the panasonic one.

This is what I figured, since $lickdeals. I lost my charger a few years ago after a move and have been relying on regular batteries since, so I was in just because of that.

The picture of the back of the package on amazon says batteries made in China.
Amazon description says the AA batteries are 1300 mAh. If true, then this is a terrible deal. My triple A batteries are that much! I guess you could put them in ultra low use devices like a tiny clock or seldom used remote with no display, but still...1300 mAh.
Bought the amazon essentials version with their top of line batteries. Have some issues but the charger is cool because it can be used as a battery bank via USB...

I have this. The charger is way too slow as compared to Panasonic The batteries are not too bad. Works for a good amount of time on xbox controller, Tv remote etc . Might not be as good on RC . Depends on your application.

My rechargeable Energizer batteries are always made in china, even 5 years old ones. I wonder how people get them made in Japan. Mine didn't hold charge after 6 months. If they are a pair, one of them gonna die first. Then ur charger cannot charge a single battery. So this is not good deal to me unless i have 1300mah batteries already.
This is a slow charger and low capacity batteries. I wouldn't recommend.
Btw, the deal is dead to me.
Better to buy Ikea batteries

Batteries alone are almost worth it though
1300mah isn't too bad
