Found this for $799 in Cincinnati store. I got one last week for $1099 and adjusted the price today. There are still a few in the store. Not sure if they are in stock and discounted in other stores.

Have you put it together? How is it? I picked up the smaller one the other day for $250. Debating if the swings are worth it for $800
Got this exact set in May. It took about 20 hours over the course of 5 days by myself.
It is a nice set but doesn't feel or look hefty like older sets. The 2nd floor is pretty cramped.
It's worth $800 for sure. We paid $1099.

I am in the process of setting it up. I am expecting it to take around 20 hours or so like the other person mentioned. I looked at many offerings from other sellers and thought this was a good playset for $1100. For $800 I think it is a great deal. Whether this will be better than the smaller playset I can't comment on that. I did consider the other one when I was in store but looking at the dimensions, it was short for my older one.
Haha! Also playsets are either scarce or very expensive since the pandemic. It is getting a little better now.
It's the price of wood. Even worse, these playsets are made rather cheaply. I've been looking to replace a 20+ yr old playset I inherited from my boss, but it's a Rainbow set with huge cedar beams, and it *is* degrading a bit, but looking at what I could get for a reasonable replacement without spending a ton of $$ makes me hesitate doing so.
The wood is cheap, the end posts for the swingset have split vertically from top to bottom and I'll probably have to replace them with PT 4x4's. I think basically all of the playsets these days are made from inexpensive wood that is just painted or coated, it's not like the real pressure-treated material you'd make a deck out of. I think they claim that this is made of cedar... it's not any cedar I've ever seen, that's for sure. Maybe a balsa-cedar hybrid
Took about 7 hours for my wife and I to put together, both of us are very "handy" so expect this to be an all-weekend project for sure.
Great value for $800 or even for $1099 considering the prices of stuff these days, but don't expect this to be anywhere near the quality of the wood playset your neighbors had when you were a kid.
Is it possible to haul this playset back to home with a three-row SUV?
Your Hilltop Playset comes in 5 packages and will be delivered on a pallet:
Box 1: 93.5" x 21.5" x 3.5" = 92.6 lb
Box 2: 93.5" x 44.3" x 5.5" = 206.4 lb
Box 3: 93.5" x 44.3" x 4.25" = 139.8 lb
Box 4: 93.5" x 44.3" x 4.25" = 67.5 lb
Box 5: 93" x 31" x 10.4" = 46.3 lb
Total ~ 550 lb
The weight is probably OK in an SUV but the boxes are long (near 8 feet) and wide (almost 4 feet). If you were to stack them all on top of one another it would be ~ 8 ft long x 4 ft wide x 2 feet high.

i put this together a couple months ago. definitely very time consuming, i'm pretty handy and had a helper from down the street that is in high school. between the two of us (part of it just me) i'd say it was about 20 hrs of work. there was one step in particular that definitely required a third person for about 10-15 min, otherwise we were able to get it done with just two people. the biggest pain in the rear is all the time spent digging for the right parts during each step. if you spend a couple hours ahead of time organizing all different pieces of wood and hardware by type and size, it may save you time while building.

Probably best with small trailer.
