Not sure why someone would buy this instead of a Quest 2 or an Index (short of FB account issues for the Q2) for PC VR

The Quest 2 has 120Hz (vs 90Hz for this), is only about 15% lower resolution, supports Wireless gameplay, and is an entire standalone system for non-tethered/streaming, all for $299 + $20 link cable. Meanwhile the Index is much more money but is all out. I'm not sure a midpoint exists.

Facebook aside, one real reason is field of view. If you are into flight sims, racing, or other games that require full immersion this is where it is at.
