If I remember correctly, the hammer drill in this combo has a very slow start when you press the button, it was a very weird feeling, should a drill be like this ??? This is one of the major reason I don't want to get this combo.

Got this combo delivered together with the freebie. Yes the drill has a delay start, unlike other drills I have. It does feel weird. But for what I do it probably won't bother me much.

It does have a slow start but honestly I like it. The drill has some torque and power.

I returned mine. When I examined it, the box had been opened and batteries bags opened. Their return policy says that they'll accept returns if they are unopened. That's a bit rich given that the are selling open box items as new. I didn't have any issues returning it though so I guess their policies are all fungible.

I also found the tools to be heavier than I expected. It doesn't help that they screw down all the display models so you can't feel the weight. Generally heavy is good in tools, but for a hand tool you'll hold for a long time, not so much.

I will also say with the many others that the ratchet is a great tool. If you are getting in the M12 platform and don't have one, you're missing out.

I tried the method of store pickup for combo and delivery for the ratchet, immediately cancelling the ratchet. Entire order was cancelled later. Now I'm trying home delivery for combo and store pickup for the ratchet, which I'll never pick up. Hope this works.

So you add both to cart and at checkout I see big items adding @ 229$. The ratchet shows @90.27$ and the combo shows @138.73$. So if i return the ratchet in store or whatever my total price would be 138.73$?! And they allow to return the "free item"?

make sure the free item is for pickup. the combo is ship to home. then you just call in to cancel it.
