Anything but carpet. I have tiles and bamboo floors. It is easily to lug than the animal ball 2 which I also have. Great for light vacuuming and requires frequent disposal of the waste receptable. I find it luxurious to have but not necessary. Very convenient. I have 5 dysons. This V10 has a cool star wars blaster charge up sound.

Get the LG. With 2 batteries, it lasts longer and works as well, if not better than Dyson.

My friend has the v10 and regrets their purchase - the battery doesn't last very long even brand new. Their house is fairly small and they struggle to clean half of it.

you dont need max suction trust me its a huge waste of battery lol. low or "auto" on the v11 is awesome can vaccum my entire home 1800 sq ft and still have half battery left

I disagree. I tried both and I found the suction to be too much on carpet. It was hard to push on some carpets. The V10 has plenty of suction. Plus the floor standing charger is outstanding.. can someone answer me why typing on this site is so screwed up.. my first word is never capitalized and it always inserts to periods at the end of a sentence.

its always messed up its showing i replied 3 times. lol . if you keep the gates open all the way on carpet its fine.. i also dont have really high carpet its about a medium. i guess it really depends on the floor you use it on

I had two Dysons, V6 and V8. Both of them died just out of the warranty period. I even didn't use them that much at all. It's expensive and doesn't last long. I used to be Dyson fan, but not anymore. No more Dyson for me.

After about 2 years, our V8 only lasts like 30 seconds on Max power. Big time battery degradation. The Min power still works well, though and can knock out about 1,000SF of wood flooring still.

I don't think that has a Hepa filtration system. Plus that is a refurb. Not that it will likely happen, but maybe possible to get someone else's bed bugs with refurb units.
