The hell you need binoculars for fishing?

This is perfect size for artificial fishing. Most fisherman only use a handful of lures. Just need your favorite lure, leader line, pliers, scissors and you should be good. Then again I got different tackle bags for different occasions. This bag would be perfect for light lure casting.

Might grab one to upgrade the one I have now. I keep a collapsible rod and a go bag with a little bit of everything in it just in case I'm out running errands and find a good spot.

There is plenty of storage space for all of the odds and ends that you need while fishing.

Ahh, see, you're in the novice phase where you think you need everything…
Next, you'll realize it's all too much and you'll downsize to the true essentials…
This is how all hobbies are 😉

This is good for active mobile/lightweight fishing. Trout, bass and light surf fishing. Even fly fishing. The situations where you don't want to be lugging a bunch of stuff around with you and where you might be trying different spots and changing it up

Bag is useless if you mostly used the Plano 3600 boxes which are 7.25x11 so it won't fit in the largest compartment 6.7x8.3. Won't even fit the Plano 3500 which are 5x9.13. Probably only good for fly boxes

I agree. I think what happens is when you start out you need more gear to offset your low skill. Later when your skill level is higher you need less gear.
