Orbit has been around a long time. If you've ever seen a sprinkler watering a lawn, it's either a Rainbird or an Orbit.

I have their smart irrigation controller, and it's the most reliable smart product I have in my home. Better connectivity and uptime than my Ring and TP-link smart devices.

Can't say anything about this specific product but I'm a fan of the brand.

Wirecutter reviewed these and didn't like them, fwiw. Very quiet alarms, no smart home integration, and can only be silenced by squeezing the actual device. Up to you to decide if those are deal breakers!

How long do the batteries last in the sensors? Glancing at the website,I see they take the CR2032 type.

Reviews not too good on Amazon.
I bought Govee sensors but haven't got around to trying them. Guess I'll gicr those a shot before I get something new, huh.

Ya almost got me again, SD!! Wink
I have the Govee and they are great. Mine are 2 years old and all have >50% battery despite multiple alarms.

Will this work with HomeKit or has its own hub or communication platform?
Edit: has its own hub

After a recent unexpected basement flood. Getting these just a safety precaution as wel

I thought about purchasing a 8 pack, to supplement my Ring Flood sensors, until i read the reviews on Amazon. Seems they have some connection issues due to limited range. I'll pass.

Look into something with a shutoff valve that will integrate with whatever setup you already have.

I have several Samsung sensors and a leak smart valve I picked up on clearance that work with my smart things setup.

Can you give a 'real world account' since you've had multiple alarms go off?

May I know why? I have Ring sensor as well, but at $35 a piece, this alternative is very tempting. I understand this would mean it won't integrate with my current Ring setup.

Repped OP!
Can anyone tell me if I can just buy additional sensors for cheaper, in the future, rather than getting a hub incase I want to add more coverage?

NVM: I checked their website and they sell sensors. Will put a deal alert!
