Oh lordy a crappy 4-core CPU being labeled as an i7. Why stop there? lLet's just call it an i9 while we are at it. This is really an i3/i5 folks. Even a low-end 6-core Ryzen 5600H would womp this thing.

Also 45% NTSC 250 nit screen. With these specs this should be $400 max. You are paying that extra $200-for an 16GB RAM instead of 8GB...

3050 is about 3-4x faster than the Intel Iris Xe I think, so it's definitely much better for games. But $750 model is 8GB and 256GB ram, when you get up close to $1000 I don't know if the G15 is the best choice.

Yah. I dont game but I run VMs and compute intensive programs. Having flexibility to upgrade RAM in future is good to have. Spoke to Rep. RAM not soldered and upgradable.
There is no addl slot for HDD though. But a USB C docking station can expand it with more ports.

I returned two laptops laptops (last 6 months) to Dell without a restocking fee of any type. I followed their exact return procedures, was within 30 days, and sent back everything in new shape. This includes resetting Windows 10.

Just two days ago I sent back an Inspiron 16, i7-11800H/3050 in favor of keeping the same model but with just an i5-11400H with integrated graphics. Once they received it, using a fedex shipping label they provided, it was credited back to my CC in three days. It showed up in my CC account in 3 business days. Dell indicated they credited in 1.5 days.

Their stated, official policy allows the a possible 15% restocking fee, but I think they reserve it for extreme cases where product might have been damaged by the user. I didn't mean to abuse this right to return, but I will say that I am more likely to continue to look at Dell in the future.
