There are other deals with the Ryzen 3 3250U. This CPU is much faster. The Ryzen is 14nm vs this is 10nm+. Integrated graphics is better on this too! If you later find you need more memory, adding another 4GB is less than $25 down the road. This laptop will be fine for your elementary, or middle school kid going back to school. Will play games just fine too.

Also, anyone buying this will almost guaranteed have to buy an additional 4GB of RAM as Google Chrome will freeze on Windows 10 with only 4GB of RAM. While it is not that big a deal, putting the RAM in may be difficult for those who have never done it before.
OP, this is why you should not put the price with a specific card in the title.

- i3-1115G4 is dual-core, but its single-core performance is excellent (matters more than multi-core performance for a lot of everyday tasks). Overall, this processor is slightly faster than 10th-gen Core i5: https://www.cpubenchmar
- 4GB RAM is easily upgraded - this has 2 SODIMM slots.
- 128GB SSD - again, easy/cheap upgrade. But a lot of users will be fine with 128GB, with cloud storage.
- Most importantly, this has a decent IPS screen, which is next to impossible to find at this price.
- Yes, this will run Windows 11 fine. 11th-gen processor and - while I don't have the laptop to confirm - I've not come across a Dell laptop in the past few years that doesn't have TPM 2.0.
Clearly there are corners cut to hit the price point - no USB-C, no backlit keyboard, all-plastic built. But find me a better new laptop for $300. (You can't.) Add 4GB RAM and this is a superb value for non-power users.
I'd argue that the cash back options should be included in the post, so people are aware of what card they should use.
