Lol someone has never owned a Knipex product with that comment. If you're using your pliers once a month then maybe. If you use them for a living or somewhat often, then the quality isn't even close and they're worth every penny.
Silly comment. Not every deal is applicable to everyone here. Baby stuff when not everyone has kids? Lawnmowers when not everyone has a lawn? That doesn't make this any less of a deal. If you don't want it, don't buy it. And don't be a troll.
Doubt it.

Menards has the 7, 10, and 12 inch Cobra pliers for about $94 after ongoing 11% rebate. The handles are different and I don't know if anything else is different. I have a few Knipex and they are very nice.

I have used Knipex
Nothing special
As somebody that uses these every single working day, there is no way you have used these. These have unbelievable grip strength that a 200 plus pound man can stand on the smallest with out breaking them. They never slip unless you have them adjusted wrong, they will crush 3/4 emt with out a heavy grip. If these can't loosen or tighten what you want then you need a pipe wrench.

edit also 90 percent of kobalt tools are garbage.
o another great reason to get these.. as long as used appropriately... you WILL NOT slip and bust your knuckles, unlike channel lock kobalt and many other cheaper brands....
I was struggling with a set of channel locks to remove a pipe coupling recently which is not something I normally work on. A plumber on the job handed me his small knipex cobra and I was able to get it apart in no time. They just work perfectly on plumbing in hard to reach spots.
Eh. I have some of both and don't really care too much either way. The comfort grip is moderately more comfortable but does take up more space in a tool box, bag, or pouch.
