I would have thought so too but they're surprisingly durable. My lab has run away with it to try to tear it to pieces a few times and it has survived. I can't speak for a bulldog, but I have been pleasantly surprised with the quality.

Bought 1 of these on Amazon earlier today before I saw this thread. My Golden Retriever LOVES frisbee. She actually foams at the mouth every time she's so excited. I hope this outlasts the cheap plastic ones as she's gone through at least a dozen of those in the last few months.

Balls are on sale too. Got a couple frisbees and balls for my Golden. Hyperpet frisbees are good too. My dog sitter stole one.

They definitely last way longer, but just try not to let them use it as a chew toy.

Well these are certainly cheap enough, but if you really want a frisbee that's made for dogs and actually costs less than this one, you really need to check out hero discs that are made especially for dogs. You can find their Blems for about four dollars apiece and they last for a really long time. I have a golden retriever who is a frisbee goddess, and once you use these frisbees you will never go back . I order about 10 or 12 each year, and they last for the whole year if not more. They fly amazingly well! Once you teach your dog how to catch it, they'll have great exercise and you will always be amazed by their catching skills. Stay away from the cheap frisbees from the dollar store, and even the chuckit products. get a real good frisbee made especially for dogs. You won't regret it.

Here's the link to some of the blems. You get an assortment of colors, that have had graphic printing errors. There's nothing wrong with the frisbee themselves. Just a printing goof. Same quality of non-goofsSmilie

If you're into teaching your dog frisbee, remember not to start them until they're at least two years old. No jumping high until all of their bone plates Have Finished growing. Smilie
