Apply Coupon 91620462. There is a 20% off coupon on the product page that I could not get to work. Remove that and apply this one.

This appears to be rebranded for Lowes as their Kobalt hand truck that sells for $159.99
https://www.lowes.com/pd/HARPER-4...5001951751

It also sells at Tractor Supply for $149.99
https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc..._vc=-10005

There are those that may prefer Aluminum and there is a current deal HERE.

Steel offers 4x the tensile strength of aluminum but is heavier. I need to push the load limits and needed a steel unit.

I'd take those ratings with a grain of salt or just cut them in half.
A Magliner (the kind pros use) is rated for 500/1000 lbs and they're much sturdier than these.

And I'm not knocking these, they're fine for what they are and what they cost. But if you need to move heavy stuff, you might want to read the Costco reviews first.
Second that on the Magliner. Used one at my last job and beat the hell outta that thing and nothing phased it. I was amazed at how much of a beating it took.

You're limited to what you can haul in the tilt position with the OD model because the handle obstructs what you're hauling if it's too tall. Cosco makes a 4 in 1 that doesn't have this issue.
I noticed this too. To point out what this means more explicitly for others looking at this: When in tilt mode, which you would normally use to help support a heavy item, the handles block a tall item. So you won't be able to move a refrigerator with this in tilt mode (which is when tilt mode would be most useful).

In for one. I have a 2 in 1 with inflatable tires. They are always flat when I go to use it so this will be nice with the solid. 900# capability is plenty. Thanks OP! Repped

I ordered a similar one from Uhaul two years ago. $60.

Just checked. It is still $60 now.

Only 700 lb capacity, but still decent at $60.

Seems comparable to the one selling in Costco for $100 (on sale @ $80 currently)
The one at Costco is crap! The thing folded in on itself holding 8 sheets of drywall in the 4 wheel position. This one looks legit so I'll gamble.

Yes.

But a freezer is up to 500lb, still less than 700lb. I was using that for moving furnitures, enough for me.

Since I just moved perhaps I can add some context here to the Costco dolly, it may be rated higher on weight from a 4 wheel position but I would say there are significant problems w/ the Costco model.

First off, if you are moving heavy loads up and down stairs don't use the Costco model, it is not built for the vibrations and tilt on the dolly -- tried to move a 400lb washing machine and the bend on the dolly was crazy (due to aluminum and non-welded joints), had to return it and go with a solid steel dolly. Additionally when moving there is substantial movement on the bars when you have such a heavy load since it is pushing on the screws and adjustable pieces not a solid welded piece, so moving anything heavy on stairs in near impossible imho.

One plus that the Costco model has is the drop down tongue, so you can fit bigger pieces or odd sized shapes easier in 4 wheel model.

Not everyone has a Sam's or Costco membership. For 100 this is a good deal.

Considering virtually every spec on the Costco one outclasses this one, I'm pretty sure everyone would prefer aluminum, despite OP.

It's called physics. Steel = 4x stronger than aluminum. There is absolutely no way this Cosco aluminum handtruck can handle anything close to 800#. Look at the images on Amazon. Plus, if that wasn't good enough, I have the 4 in 1 from Cosco and the frame began to bend at somewhere close to 400#. That is why I needed to look for a steel one.

Yeah, I think Sam's Club has a similar one, too. Steel construction for $89.98. 1000# limit in 4 wheel mode.

Lacks the assisted angled position, which I think is the most useful position. The 4-in-1 version from the same manufacturer is worth the extra coin imho. I run a fitness equipment business and use it often. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

Definitely for the janky looking one in the OP but the Cosco one is aluminum so they can add a ton of extra support so they're really sturdy.
