I just sold the G Power I was using for backup duty and went with a brand new Pixel 2XL. Broke even on the deal and figured the Pixel is better in every single way besides battery life.

Yes Pixel 2XL may be the better phone overall, but people buy this phone..............for the battery life only. There's no other reason to buy this phone with so many other choices out there. And let me tell you, the lack of need to charge every day, or even better every other day, is indeed glorious. Seems like such a small thing, but it's not.

Not the only reason as it may be easier to put custom ROMs on it, no? Pixels are not good for that from what I heard.
